Every rewind uses coils manufactured in our own coil winding department from high-quality materials, impregnated under vacuum pressure with premium resin — supervised by qualified artisans. Our new dipping tanks take a stator of up to 600 kW fully submerged — the whole winding goes under, not just part of it.

Half a century of
keeping mines turning

Paul Martin Engineering has operated from Boksburg North since 1974, rewinding and reconditioning AC and DC electric motors for South Africa's gold and platinum mines. Work is supervised by qualified artisans and carried out by experienced personnel — many with decades on the floor.

A formal quality management system has governed our workshop since 1982, and the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Every machine leaves tested, documented and ready for duty.
